What do Professional Organizers do?
Professional Organizers assist clients with a variety of
organizing needs. Services may include but are not limited to
home organization, paper management, downsizing,
eliminating clutter, establishing file systems, and overall time
management skills.
How much do Professional Organizers charge?
Darling & Darling Organizers will begin by offering a
complimentary in-home consultation. This initial
meeting allows us to meet with a potential client. We will
then assess the scope of the project to be organized and ascertain
a clients goals and expectations. After careful review, we will
present our ideas, solutions, time-frame, and a quote to complete
the project. As each organizational venture is different, we have
charged both an hourly rate and a project rate. We determine
with our clients input, the most economical way to charge for our
services. Darling & Darling Organizers provide our clients with
a team effort which maximizes your time and our efficiency.
How do you decide what to keep and what to purge?
As an organizer, we help to facilitate the process of
becoming more organized. Our hope is to create a more
harmonious and stress-free environment, thus helping the
client to gain an increased sense of peace and control. We
are firm believers in working side by side with a client to
determine how best to achieve this goal. We will happily
help to downsize or "purge", but only if the client hopes to
do so. We have a deep respect for peoples attachments to
their belongings. We can just as easily help to create
alternative ways of storing and organizing those special
items. Organizing is often a matter of using one's space
more wisely. When your belongings have a designated
home, you will begin to have a more structured lifestyle,
thus eliminating unwanted stress.
